Lion: Legendary, the first of a new Ep series from Hip Hop artist CW Allen; hopes to captivate listeners imaginations with a collection of thought-provoking urban stories.
The first installment of the Ep series features Lion Star from Chicagoís Southside. Lion is a 35-year-old Hip Hop artist who is finally getting his just due after 15 years of hard work in the music industry. Listeners are immediately introduced to his passionate but playful personality in interview clips with fictional radio hosts Silv The G and DJ Mar on 86.6 Legendary Radio.
“I’ve spent years letting my listeners get to know me in an intimate way and I just wanted this next project to tell a different story. I am an author now and I enjoy voice acting so I really wanted to incorporate those elements this go around.”

As the story is unfolds The Cleveland born, Chicago-based artist switches up his cadence to flow effortlessly over tracks like his first single ìAinít Nothing Changed,î Produced by FCONTheBeat. The instrumental features heavy bass lines with trap drums and a hypnotic flute thatís sure to be a crowd favorite.
As the song progresses itís obvious that Allen needs no one to convince him that his words have power, as he raps; “Still got a word that the world need to hear / Teach emí how to fish like Iím chilling at the pier.” Rhyming with self-confidence and conviction, the rapper wonít allow social media praise to affirm his worth. He rhymes;
“I’ve seen folks feen to get a mention from nah nah/ Things change fame fade we never reach nirvana / Donít believe it, dream Build it, stay with it, Niche fit it/Still Kill it, God give it, home slip it, reinvent it./Go Pack make the industry beg for it.” Not just relegated to being new and noteworthy, this head bobbing anthem reassures hip-hop lovers of their place in the world and offers listeners the encouragement that they need.
